NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH

NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH
“KAHANDAAN SA SAKUNA’T PELIGRO PARA SA TUNAY NA PAGBABAGO”

“Every ounce of care is equivalent to a pound of care”, a saying from Benjamin Franklin, a famed scientist and is one of those who signed the American Declaration of Independence during the eve of the American War of Evidence. One must be ready when a disaster comes like a volcanic eruption, or a tectonic earthquake, or a storm surge caused by a storm and etc... disasters can happen anywhere.
This month, we celebrate the National Disaster Resilience Month. One of the first steps in being safe during a disaster is to equip mitigation. This pre-disaster approach certainly deals with the expected disaster and what might possibly happen after the disaster. It puts on effect all known possible efforts and steps in possibly coping with the disaster.
After a disaster, we must call on immediate help like calling the BFP, PNP, NDRRMC etc. in any case no help arrives, we must keep calm and carry on. In dark times like this, we must all remember a quote namely; “Never ever ever give up, no matter how dire is the situation.
