Solidarity means unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group. The facts that since 1572 we were colonized by Kingdom of Spain (Reino de España in Spanish), The United States Of America And the Imperial Japanese Empire we must guard ourselves against growing threats from outside the country especially against the growing power of the People's Republic of China.

         Philippine Solidarity Week is a week of activities beginning on February 4 to commemorate the Philippine-American War and to raise awareness and support for the continuing struggle of the Filipino people for national liberation. It is led by Bagong Alyansang Makabayan-USA or BAYAN-USA.

Draft#1          A brand new year means some new year’s resolution. Like The great writer C.S Lewis said, there are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. So we must not repeat our previous mistakes.
