      As the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas is the most prepared celebration in a year. In General, Christmas is a symbol for gift-giving, peace and prosperity.
     To celebrate the birth of our Lord, We celebrate Christmas. Many memorable events happened during December 25 besides Christmas. One of the best remembered was the Christmas Truce of the year 1914. It has been almost a year since the start of World War 1. During the night before Christmas, all the guns fell silent across the Western front and soldiers of both sides pepped out their trenches. Some mended the fortifications some got up to get their dinner while some went to bury their dead. While doing this, they sang the Christmas Carol Silent Night. After that the Allied soldiers sung their Christmas Carols while the German Soldiers hung lanterns. The morning of Christmas 1914 soldiers

A NEW CHAPTER OF MY LIFE

Draft#1          A brand new year means some new year’s resolution. Like The great writer C.S Lewis said, there are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. So we must not repeat our previous mistakes. Instead, we must, and only must, reminiscence them and use them as our stepping stones so we can finally grasp our dreams.                      Last Dec. 31 2019, we started preparing for our New Year’s Celebration. Being estranged to the modern equivalent of feasts, we just have our usual dinner by 5:40 and we took a nap. We woke up by 9:00 pm. I sometimes think that it is better for me to end up being a cubby in a garret in this circumstances. Not being very pessimistic but this has been very evident throughout the year. No one has no dream. If he or she yet doesn’t have one, then he or she hasn’t decided yet on what to be in the future. When he or she has one, then he plans ahead of the rest and know what he or she wants to do in the future. My dream is: first, to become an engineer or an aircraft mechanic someday; second, to be with the person I’m e being with me after marriage, after multiplying and through thick and thin, we will not depart from each other and we will always be true to the sacred oath we have said upon the Holy church.
