Pandemic ka Lang, I am Filipino

How can Filipino Youth contribute to society amidst global pandemic  As the world struggles with unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, young people are demonstrating their continued leadership in their communities and countries. According to a new UN plan to address COVID-19, young people are some of the most affected by the pandemic's socio-economic impacts. Nevertheless,  youth are also among the most active in global responses: Not only are they on the frontlines as health workers, but they are also advancing health and safety in their roles as researchers, activists, innovators, and communicators. As such, decision-makers must commit to ensuring youth voices are part of the solutions for a healthier, safer, and gender-equal  world    Here are some examples that Women Deliver Young Leaders are stepping up and taking action against the outbreak: 1. Using Social Media and Apps to spread accurate information  According to a medical doctor...

No one has no dream. If he or she yet doesn’t have one, then he or she hasn’t decided yet on what to be in the future. When he or she has one, then he plans ahead of the rest and know what he or she wants to do in the future. My dream is: first, to become an engineer or an aircraft mechanic someday; second, to be with the person I’m e being with me after marriage, after multiplying and through thick and thin, we will not depart from each other and we will always be true to the sacred oath we have said upon the Holy church. Dream big and your faith should be as big as your God. because it is our beliefs are that keeps us running and also the people who believe in us. https://www.google.com/search?q=aircraft+mechanic+&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjL87rj3JHoAhWLyYsBHQo3CC8Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=aircraft+mechanic+&gs_l=img.3..0i67l2j0l3j0i67j0l4.67649.88866..92079...4.0..0.145.2496.0j20......0....1..gws-wiz-img.....10..35i362i39j35i39j0i10i24.K4MQICMxNrI&ei=5HtoXsvxC4uTr...

Reflection

In our subject which was TLE, we learned how to again use Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 and we also learned how to use Word Quest.     some of the problems I encountered are that I cannot focus enough when sometimes it is our classmates' turn to discuss about the lesson so sometimes I just imagine something that would make me at least smile a bit and the fact that it hard to study with all this different questions in my mind but I know now the answers, luckily.   studying is not just getting high grades during tests and examinations, it is the way you study the subject.   Moving on, I will try to study hard this time but sometimes laziness make me not do it but I know I can do it because I have the determination to do it. Like the Great Winston Churchill once said " Never ever ever give up. No matter the situation". https://www.google.com/search?q=winston+churchill+inspirational+quotes&rlz=1C1CHBF_enPH887PH887&sxsrf=ALeKk00JPeusKLKqZMK...

A NEW CHAPTER OF MY LIFE

Draft#1          A brand new year means some new year’s resolution. Like The great writer C.S Lewis said, there are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. So we must not repeat our previous mistakes. Instead, we must, and only must, reminiscence them and use them as our stepping stones so we can finally grasp our dreams.                      Last Dec. 31 2019, we started preparing for our New Year’s Celebration. Being estranged to the modern equivalent of feasts, we just have our usual dinner by 5:40 and we took a nap. We woke up by 9:00 pm. I sometimes think that it is better for me to end up being a cubby in a garret in this circumstances. Not being very pessimistic but this has been very evident throughout the year. Good thing there is some people and things that make me feel good about myself. Good events etc.                 ...
Reflection “Education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.” This Third Quarter a new set of information was given to us by our beloved teacher Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz. I again manage to to scrape through this with a little help from my friends. I also encountered many problems this quarter most of all, difficulty in paying attention during discussion. My agile brain work functioned again when  the teacher showed us how to use Microsoft Frontpage. This show how to make web pages. Moreover, I must keep my cool and control to this thing right. Not only for education but for my Family's expectations, and for the love of God, who made all things in Earth
Draft#6             As the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas is the most prepared celebration in a year. In General, Christmas is a symbol for gift-giving, peace and prosperity.      To celebrate the birth of our Lord, We celebrate Christmas. Many memorable events happened during December 25 besides Christmas. One of the best remembered was the Christmas Truce of the year 1914. It has been almost a year since the start of World War 1. During the night before Christmas, all the guns fell silent across the Western front and soldiers of both sides pepped out their trenches. Some mended the fortifications some got up to get their dinner while some went to bury their dead. While doing this, they sang the Christmas Carol Silent Night. After that the Allied soldiers sung their Christmas Carols while the German Soldiers hung lanterns. The morning of Christmas 1914 soldiers https://www.google.com/search?...
Draft#5 The Inter-Agency Council on Violence Against Women and Their Children (IACVAWC) was created by virtue of  Republic Act No. 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004) . Draft#4    Why is the world hot?; Why is the sea rising?; Why is there lesser food in hot regions?. These are some questions that were asked nowadays. We also heard of Environmental activists rallying people to hearken their plight. Why are they doing this? It is because for their love for nature/environment.   To define environmental awareness we must first understand the environmentalist movement. Environmentalism is an ideology that evokes the necessity and responsibility of humans to respect, protect, and preserve the natural world from its anthropogenic (caused by humans) afflictions.Environmental awareness is an integral part of the movement’s success. By teaching our friends and family that the physical environment is fragile and indispensable we can begin fixing the problems that threaten it.Numerous resources are available to promote environmental awareness; group learning (in or outside of class), informational and inspirational seminars, and environmental...
Draft#3       Our National Hero Jose Rizal famously stated The youth is our hope for the future because he believes that if the present generation committed some mistakes, the next generation might as well undo it. This is also one of the reasons why we celebrate Children's Month     The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) adopted on 20 November 1989 is the first legally binding universal treaty solely dedicated to the promotion and protection of children’s rights. It sets out the rights that must be realized for every child – the rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. It offers a vision of the child as an individual and as a member of a family and community, with rights and responsibilities appropriate to his or her age and stage of development. The Philippines as a State Party to the Convention has the obligation and accountability to undertake all appropriate legislative, administrative, and other measu...
Draft#2       Since childhood, we have been by our parents basic morals and values that were combined with wisdom. During elementary we call it Christian Values and GMRC and in Middle School we call it ESP and Religion. But what does Values really mean?      Education Secretary Leonor Briones, in DepEd Memorandum no. 161 series of 2019, issued the guidelines on the conduct of this year’s observance of the Filipino Values Month. The FVM, she explained, “aims to mobilize all Filipinos for nation building through the practical exercise of human values in our daily lives as citizens and to awaken all to the power of these values in achieving the individual and national goals.” Briones said that the FVM is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 479, s. 1994. For this year, the theme of the FVM celebration is “Pamilyang Pilipino Patatagin: Susi sa Paghubog ng Kabataang Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakakalikasan at Makabansa” which “emphasizes the importance an...
Draft#1     One of a person’s greatest dreams is to live is peace, security and harmony with one another. To achieve this, man befriends another or making terms for peace and to prevent future hostilities to arose. These are reasons why UN was created.      In 1941 after Japan attacked the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, United States became fully involved at the war hence a superpower was added to the Allied Powers. The name "United Nations", coined by United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt was first used in the Declaration by United Nations of 1 January 1942, during the Second World War, when representatives of 26 nations pledged their Governments to continue fighting together against the Axis Powers. The Third Moscow Conference was one of the first times in which foreign ministers of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union could meet and discuss important global matters. Here, they discussed what measures ...

During this month the entire country celebrate the Teachers' day to show gratitude to its teachers, who spend their time in teaching students good manners and right conduct, math, science, ICT and more. World Teachers Day 2019: This day is observed on October 5 every year with an aim to improve teachers’ situation in the world. Draft#5 According to Wikipedia sports or intramurals are recreational sports organized within a particular institution, usually an educational institution, or a set geographic area.[citation needed] The term, which is chiefly North American,[2] derives from the Latin words intra muros meaning "within walls", and was used to describe sports matches and contests that took place among teams from "within the walls" of an institution or area. The term dates to the 1840s. It is contrasted with extramural, varsity or intercollegiate sports, which are played between teams from different educational institutions. For example, Michael Phelps is good at swimming, Manny Paquiao is good at boxing and Bob Beamon is good at Long jump. All of us, literally, have certain ways to some sports. Some we master while some we flunk. It is here during Intramurals that we show our talents. https://www.google.com/search?biw=1242&bih=553&tbm=isch&sxsrf=ACYBGNQMxX1im...
